Tucked away in the city centre, Darkside Café is all about doorstop, flavour-packed sandos - and honestly, they blew us away.

🐷 Pork Fiction - sweet & spicy pulled pork, melted cheese, lettuce + BBQ sauce. Hands down the most divine sandwich I’ve ever had. No competition.
🍄 Truffle Shuffle - mac & cheese with truffle and mushrooms. Rich, indulgent and seriously comforting.
✨ Craig
🥔 Crisp Sandwich - salt & vinegar crisps with an unreal gravy dip. Genius.
🧀 Mac to the Future - mac & cheese stuffed straight into bread. Carbs on carbs and so worth it.
🤩 The Pork Fiction stole the crown for me, but the creativity here is next-level. Plus, the Star Wars vibes inside the café are super cool 😎.
👉 Darkside really is a hidden gem - I’ll be back soon to try the Ham Solo.

Lovely place to go for lunch! Came for the first time today and as a fussy eater they were really accommodating! The young women working were so kind and friendly, it was such a lovely experience! The food was delicious too, will definitely be recommending to all my friends.

They have many different sandwiches on the menu and good coffees! We had the sandwich with chicken, tomato, lettuce and a dressing, and the crisps sandwich with gravy dipping. It was super tasty and such a guilty pleasure. Also, they had alternative milk (oat) if you wanted that with your cappuccino!

The only issue we had with waiting time.
Place is brand new and looks very good having some retro/hipster/post-industrial vibe.
Didn't tried coffee there but by the smell we think it can be good too.

Cosy little cafe tucked away in a not so noticeable corner of Swansea. Tasty and affordable breakfast baps. Plus point is cafe open from 7:30 am so perfect to grab breakfast on way to work.

Called in with my daughter, the guy was closing but went out his way to make us the sandwich anyway. To be completely honest was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. Looked amazing and the taste was fantastic. Recommend a visit to this place. Hope it does well!

most delicious mocha served with a lovely sandwich by a sweet couple that lit up the room with laughs. all-in-all an amazing first impression, definitely intend on coming back. 🌷✨️❤️ wish it was open just a little bit later so i could get more studying in, but i totally understand why the hours are the way that they are. 🙂↕️
